HARWICH – It’s festival time. The Harwich Cranberry Arts and Music Festival gets underway behind the community center on Oak Street on Saturday morning. The festival has been the centerpiece of September activities in town for nearly 50 years.
This year will be no different, with 150 crafts vendors, food, music and drink. The two-day festival promises to provide offerings for a wide range of interests.
The crafts fair hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with some vendors remaining open to the end of CranJam Music Festival at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The CranJam Music Festival features several Cape and Islands-based bands on Saturday and Sunday. The music starts at noon on Saturday and Sunday (see page 42 for a full lineup of acts).
A full schedule of events can be found in the Second Summer supplement in this edition.
