Edith Coulson Ruggles

Edie, age 88 of Harwich Port, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family at Cape Cod Hospital on January 19, 2024. Born in 1935 to Henry and Maud Coulson, she was the youngest of seven siblings. She was a lifelong Harwich Port resident, raising her family there.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Domos and son-in-law John Domos of Harwich. Also surviving are her Grandchildren, Carly Tasiopoulos and her husband Chris of Hanover, Heidi Domos of Hanover and Jake Domos of Hyannis. She was proudest to be “GG Ruggs” to her great granddaughter, Tate Tasiopoulos. She also leaves behind her treasured sister and best friend, Joyce Noyes of Harwich, her sister –in-law Bonnie Ruggles of Sandwich and many loved nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Edie was predeceased by her husband Robert Lane Ruggles and son David Lane Ruggles, brothers Wallace Coulson, Arthur Coulson and Kenneth Coulson and sisters Peggy Clemons and Lionne Peltier.

Edie enjoyed family times, especially those spent with her grandchildren. She cherished her many friendships and loved going to lunches and happy hours ‘with the girls.” She was a devoted friend, a compassionate caregiver to many and shared her talents in the church choir for many years.

Services will be held at Chapman Funerals and Cremations, 678 Main Street, Harwich. Visitation for family and friends is on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 11:00am to12:00pm, followed by a memorial service at noon.
