Patricia D. Foot
October 03, 2024
After a long, busy life focused on family, Patricia Duffy Foot did not wake up on Saturday, September 21. She was in the Harbor Point Memory Care Community in Centerville on Cape Cod. Pat was the mother of five, stepmother to three, grandmother to fifteen, and great-grandmother to seven.
She was a graduate of the University of Vermont. She was married to Robert N. Duffy, an executive with Honeywell, for 28 years and to Theodore W. Foot, a public school superintendent for 40 years. She grew up in Vermont and lived in Schenectady (NY) twice; Mulhouse (France); Paris; Phoenix; Minneapolis; Philadelphia; and finally, Orleans (MA). She was active in Brewster Baptist Church and Bucks Harbor (ME) Yacht Club. She loved to be cooking and baking and was devoted to her dogs, most recently, Millie and Cricket. Pat was a summer resident of Eggemoggin, Little Isle, ME, for forty years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 5, at 11:00 AM at Brewster Baptist Church in Brewster, MA. Instead of sending flowers, memorial remembrances may be given in her name to the Cape Cod Alzheimer’s Family Support Center, 2095 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631.
