Jane Wiedenman
Jane Texter Wiedenman of Brewster, Massachusetts, died on December 15, 2023 in her home. Born in Aspinwall, PA on March 6, 1930, her parents were Clifford Raymond Texter and Etta Duff Parker Texter. She was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School in 1948 And received her BA from Principia College, Elsah, IL in 1952. During her married years she lived in Alexandria, VA, Summit, NJ and Vineland, NJ. In 1974 she moved to S. Orleans, MA and lived there for 38 years. For the last 12 years she resided with her daughter Cheri Tyree in Brewster, MA.
Jane started her limousine service, Livery Unlimited, in 1980, driving many loyal customers to doctor’s appointments, local airports, NYC and Florida always in a Volvo wagon! For many years she was the only woman going into the limo pool at Logan airport.
Jane was a long-time member of the Church of the Holy Spirit playing in the church bell choir and volunteering in the office assisting with staff administrative projects.
She is survived by Cheri Tyree of Brewster, Penny Vigilante and husband John of New Providence, NJ and Peter Wiedenman of Shannock, RI. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren Jamie and Matt Mcready and wife Maureen, Steven, PJ & Katie Vigilante, Ryan and Texter Wiedenman and 2 great-grandsons – Miles & Micah McCready. Also, a niece and nephew and their 5 children. Her sister Ellen Patterson predeceased her in 2011.
A Service of Remembrance for Jane Texter Wiedenman is Sat. 2/17/2024 at 11 am at Church of the Holy Spirit, 204 Monument Road, Orleans, MA. Reception to follow.
