Special Town Meeting OK's Bridge St. Funding

CHATHAM -- After less debating less than an hour, special town meeting voters Monday evening approved $4 million to complete the 90 Bridge St. waterfront project.

The single warrant article was approved 462-99, more than the two-third margin needed to pass. A ballot question for a waterfront bond approved at the May annual town election provides authorization to borrow the funds, according to town officials.
