“What we’ve built here is more than a grocery store,” said Jillian Ring, marketing director for Ring Bros. Marketplace. “It’s an experience! The smells, the TVs, the music, the great vibes plus our great employees. They are what makes it so special here. Their dedication to providing the best, friendliest service to our customers is unique and special.”
Yes, Ring Bros. Marketplace is still owned by the Ring family. Ring Bros. Wholesale was started by two brothers, Steven and Edmund, nearly 100 years ago, and delivers fresh local produce to restaurants to this day.
“When we began the retail marketplace, first in Harwich and now in our present location in South Dennis, we knew we had to offer the local produce from our wholesale business but we needed meats, seafood, baked goods, and more. So we appealed to local businesses in the area, and the Marketplace was born.” Today Ring Bros Marketplace is a destination, not a stop on your errand list.
You will find a complete grocery store with an abundant produce selection, a butcher, Dark Horse Beef and Deli; a bakery, Nata’s Cake and Cookhouse with Montilio’s Baking Company; seafood, Chatham Fish and Lobster; Ring’s floral shop; the housewares collection; Ring’s Juice Bar; Spinners Pizza and Burritos; and Portside Liquors, all under one roof. And all that can be purchased at one cashier station. They have a catering menu, too. And they offer Cape-wide delivery of all their goods. There are cases of prepared foods as well for grab-and-go lunches and dinners. The Marketplace is always bustling with lots of happy patrons. The floral dept and the housewares collections makes it quick and easy to grab a hostess gift, too. Everything is available for door-to-door delivery.
They publish a monthly newsletter and timely pamphlets such as “Ring’s Sizzling Tips” for summer time grilling, along with a guide on summer cocktails.
Ring also told me they realize the value of giving back to the community.
“During the summer months we held a ‘Summer Community Collection’ raffle with the proceeds going to three local charities: Cape Abilities, Cape Cod Ambassadors and Wild Care. Then during the year we deliver kids’ meals to different school systems through Cape Kid Meals, and sponsor the DY Youth Athletic Department.”
Don’t you think it’s time to experience Ring Bros. Marketplace today?
A healthy Barnstable County requires great community news.
