Get ready for a whole summer of music overlooking Pleasant Bay.

The Cape Cod Jazz and Arts Festival is about to kick off its 20th anniversary season at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, and the lineup is as star-filled as a summer night.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday evening throughout the months of July and August, music lovers will be treated to live jazz and drinks on the Wequassett’s Garden Terrace. The doors open at 8 p.m. for cocktails and music.

The festival begins Tuesday, July 9 with Alan Cumming, a multi-hyphenate, multi-award-winning multimedia mogul who recently performed at Sanders Theatre; followed by Loren Allred, a Boston Berklee College graduate who made her Billboard Hot 100 debut with the platinum-selling "Never Enough" from “The Greatest Showman” on Wednesday, July 10, with a special pre-performance by Blue Man Group (a special performance that’s only shown in-studio and is the first time the festival is featuring a form of art that’s not a vocalist); Funktapuss on Tuesday, July 16; Owenn, currently an opener for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour on Wednesday, July 17; G. Love on Tuesday, July 23; Jackie Burns and Nicholas Connell on Wednesday, July 24; Vonda Shepard on Tuesday, July 30; and Sarah Swain and the Oh Boys finishing up the month of music on Wednesday, July 31.

Grace Kelly will perform on Tuesday, Aug. 13 with her new project, “Grace Kelly with Strings: At The Movies,” which consists of Kelly and her band playing with a string quartet. Kelly has performed at the festival every year since 2009.

“We’re very excited,” Kelly said. “We are playing some of my favorite songs from movies. This album holds profound personal significance for me, reflecting my lifelong passion for cinema. As fate would have it, my legal name was serendipitously changed to Grace Kelly at the age of 8 after taking the name of my stepfather, a detail that seems to predestine my artistic journey and connection to the golden era of film. We even recorded the only song Grace Kelly sang on screen, a beautiful Cole Porter song, ‘True Love.’”

Kelly added that she loves performing at Wequassett, and feels blessed to have been performing there regularly for over ten years.

“The minute I set foot there, I am transported to a beautiful setting and vibe which really sets the stage for the evening,” Kelly said. “The setting and the very enthusiastic and wonderful audience make it a memorable destination and one I continue to look forward to returning to. Live music brings an energy that can’t be replicated. It is a source of beautiful connection with others, something that the world is in dire need of in this time where there is so much division.”

The fun continues through the month of August with Ray Greene and the All-Star Band on Tuesday, Aug. 6; KJ Denhert on Wednesday, Aug. 7; Morgan James on Wednesday, Aug. 14; Nikki and the Barn Boys on Tuesday, Aug. 20; Kate Pierson, singer, songwriter, and founding member of The B-52s, who is kicking off her tour at Wequassett on Wednesday, Aug. 21; vocalist Suede on Tuesday, Aug. 27; and The Allnighters featuring Jermaine Paul finishing up the festival season on Wednesday, Aug. 28.

Those who wish to enjoy a meal may make a reservation to arrive early and enjoy a special stationed dinner from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., curated by Executive Chef James Hackney. Diners will be greeted upon arrival with a selection of snacks to share, and service will conclude with a tray of sweets. Main dishes will include summer bites like citrus-poached shrimp, lobster baked mac and cheese and desserts inspired by the summer season.
