Cool Weather Doesn’t Dim Oktoberfest Enthusiasm

CHATHAM – It certainly felt like October Saturday, but the chill in the air didn’t dim the enthusiasm of attendees at the town’s annual Oktoberfest celebration, sponsored by the Chatham Chamber of Commerce and Merchants Association.

At Kate Gould Park and the town offices parking lot, folks queued for beer while listening to music and partaking of seasonal food offerings. The Kids’ Zone drew lines for facepainting and balloon animals, while local nonprofits provided information and others inspected the Pumpkinpalooza displays in the park.
