A Gala Time At The Academy Of Performing Arts

APA actor Kerry Fitzgibbons of Brewster and her mom Gini Donnelley enjoy cocktail hour and checking out silent auction items at the Academy of Performing Arts’ annual Enchanted Gala last weekend. MELISSA DE LA VEGA PHOTOS

APA veteran actors Nicholas Dorr, DJ Kostka, Mark Roderick and Billy Weimer welcome the audience with a lively opening number at the gala.

APA’s artistic director Judy Hamer reviews the 2026 lineup. She also announced new membership options for patrons to help support the theater.

Some of the cast members of the upcoming “Wizard of Oz” perform a musical number at the gala. Tickets for the show are on sale now.

The night’s emcees, Mark Roderick and Denise Page, crack jokes and keep the crowd entertained at APA’s annual gala.

Tom Nadeau of the Wellfleet Shellfish Company provided the oysters for the event. Also on hand were wine and champagne donated by Truro Vineyards, charcuterie from Cape Cod Charcuterie and shrimp cocktail from the Roderick Estate. ASHLEY RORRO PHOTO
