Mother Walks The Line With Her Daughter
---- Robyn O’Neill of Brewster (left) joined her daughter Brittany Tucker, a first-grade teacher at Underwood Elementary Newton on the picket lines of the striking teachers union last week. Newton teachers are striking to push for higher starting pay and a more humane family leave policy for workers including teacher aides and behavioral therapists, along with more social workers in school buildings and cost of living increases for teachers. ---- Last month, the Chatham Harwich Hospital Auxiliary held its annual Game Day and
Luncheon at the Chatham Community Center. The sold-out crowd of 96 enjoyed a fun
afternoon with a delicious luncheon followed by game play. Ticket and gift card basket sales
resulted in the branch raising over $3,900 toward their current $1 million pledge for cancer

Dots And Donuts
----- The Chatham Women’s Club held a “Dots and Donuts” event held last week. Twenty-one members gathered at the Chatham Community Center to learn how to create Mandala paintings using dotting techniques and acrylic paint.
