Celebrating The Waters On The Water

The Celebrate Our Waters sailing event at Pleasant Bay Community Boating Sept. 19 created memories for more than 60 people of all ages who experienced the beauty and thrill of Pleasant Bay on skippered catboat sails throughout the day as part of the Orleans Pond Coalition town-wide event. “We’re thankful for our PBCB Partners who donated staff and resources, furthering our mutual outreach goals,” said Orleans Pond Coalition board member Wendy Scofield (right). “Our nonprofit organizations care deeply about the health of our local waterways.” Staff members Madison Valente (left) and Maggie Braz welcomed community members to PBCB’s waterfront for free sails. Pleasant Bay Community Boating staff members skippered catboat sails throughout the day last Saturday as part of the Orleans Pond Coalition’s “Celebrate Our Waters” event.

Benjamin Greene and family of Orleans were delighted to get out on Pleasant Bay on Saturday. The Orleans Pond Coalition and Pleasant Bay Community Boating collaborated on the day of free sails for locals and visitors.
