Rosewood Manor Sold To Plymouth Company
HARWICH – Rosewood Manor, the residential care home for seniors in Harwich Center, has been sold. Plymouth-based EF Senior Care purchased the 27-bed Level IV rest home on Sept. 1.
Rosewood Manor is the third senior care facility owned and operated by EF Senior Care. The company also owns The Terraces, a skilled nursing and memory care facility located off Route 28 in Orleans. The company also provides consulting and management services to more than 180 senior care living facilities across Massachusetts since 2018.
“Since we were introduced to Rosewood, we’ve appreciated the commitment to quality care that administrator Brenna Van Tassel and her team deliver,” said Matt Muratore, LNHA, co-founder of EF Senior Care. “As operators ourselves, we look forward to supporting them with thoughtfulness and attention to detail.”
For decades, Muratore said, “Rosewood Manor has filled a special need in the community, and EF Senior Care is proud to continue this legacy as we assume responsibility for its residents and staff.”
The rest home provides 24-hour supervision, housing, meals, and medication management for individuals who need supportive living arrangements but do not require routine nursing or medical care. It specializes in caring for residents with emerging memory-related challenges in a home-like environment with a structured activities program, personalized care and a high staff-to-resident ratio that forges close relationships among staff, residents and their families, according to Muratore.
The facilities are located in a former sea captain’s house dating to the 1800s, which is located in the heart of historic Harwich Center. The facilities have been expanded and modernized over the years.
“We pride ourselves in putting care first in everything we do,” said Muratore.
A healthy Barnstable County requires great community news.
