‘United We Dance’ In Brooks Park On Friday

HARWICH – The sixth annual “United We Dance” event will be held in Brooks Park on Friday, Aug. 21 from 4 to 8 p.m.

 “This free, family-friendly event welcomes all ages and abilities to experience the joy of dance in an inclusive and supportive environment,” said event host Victoria Brown, owner of Dance Therapy 508 and Entertainment.

 The evening begins with a R&B stretch and flow session with Alexandria Rose of Natural Vibes and continues with free dance classes in hip hop, krump, locking, West African dance and breakdancing, according to Brown.

 Guests will enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening, including an opening performance by the Fred Clayton Band, a Latin dance performance and a Tahitian African fire fusion to close the event. There will also be raffle prizes, local vendors, delicious food and fun activities for the whole family, Brown said.
