Cape Cod Baseball League Season Starts Saturday

After a long, cruel winter, the Cape Cod Baseball League is finally back. The 2026 season starts Saturday, June 13.
All Lower Cape teams begin their 40-game schedules on the road. On opening day, the Harwich Mariners visit Red Wilson Field and the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox at 4:30 p.m. in a rematch of last summer’s East Division finals.
Meanwhile, the Chatham Anglers face the defending champion Bourne Braves at Doran Park at 6 p.m. The Brewster Whitecaps face the Hyannis Harbor Hawks at McKeon Park at 6 p.m. The Orleans Firebirds face the Falmouth Commodores at Guv Fuller Field at 6 p.m.
Harwich’s home opener at Whitehouse Field is Monday, June 15 at 6:30 p.m. against Hyannis. Chatham’s home opener at Veterans Field is Sunday, June 14 at 7 p.m. against the Cotuit Kettleers. Brewster and Orleans also open at home Sunday, the Whitecaps at Stony Brook Field against Falmouth at 4:30 p.m. and the Firebirds at Eldredge Park against Yarmouth-Dennis at 6:30 p.m.
The All-Star Game will be held Saturday, July 18 at Harwich’s Whitehouse Field. The postseason begins Tuesday, Aug. 4.
