Athlete Of The Week: Raldo Mowatt

NORTH EASTHAM – Breakers FC goalkeeper Raldo Mowatt made a number of saves to keep Stable United FC at bay as the two sides played to a scoreless draw Sunday.

Stable United began to generate an attack during the first half of the Cape Cod Soccer League season opener at Nauset Regional High School. Mowatt made one big save and fought off another. He secured a free kick that was on frame.

Around the 75th minute of the second half, Mowatt blocked a shot diving to his left. He was the reason Breakers salvaged the draw and earned a point to start the year. 

Mowatt is in his second year with the club. On the pitch, he’s a vocal veteran leader.

“Man of the match,” General Manager Tony Conte said. “I mean, he made some serious great plays, and so overall, very pleased.”
