George Franklin Ganss

December 3, 1939 - January 1, 2024

George F. Ganss of Harwich, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on January 1, 2024. George was born and raised in Newton, MA where he graduated high school. He served in the United States Air Force Reserves and graduated from Northeastern University. He married Judith Jordan in 1962 and they had three children together, John, Heidi and Tim. George married Constance Rondhaler in 1978. They settled in Bedford, MA before moving to Harwich, MA after George retired from a long and successful career at IBM.

George is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Bernice Ganss; his beloved sisters Gloria Clarke, Nancy Spuria and Linda Ganss; his dear niece Karen Spuria and his brother-in-law Alan Clarke. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Constance Ganss; and his children John Ganss (Lynn) of Brewster, MA; Heidi Ganss Harris (Rick) of Houston, TX and Wellfleet, MA; and Timothy Ganss of Acton and Wellfleet, MA; as well as his brother-in-law, Tony Spuria. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren - Victoria, Anya, Alex, Ben and Nina; he also leaves his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Terry and Carolyn Black, and many nieces, nephews & friends.
