Monomoy Superintendent Finalists Named

The three finalists to replace Scott Carpenter as superintendent of the Monomoy Regional School District were announced by the school committee at its meeting Thursday evening.

The finalists are Dr. Robin Millen, assistant superintendent of curriculum, instruction and assessment in the Monomoy District; Dr. Vanessa Beauchaine, assistant superintendent in the Wrentham school district; and Dr. David Thompson, interim superintendent in Wilmington.

The  candidates will visit all four district schools Monday and Tuesday. Beauchaine and Thompson will be at Monomoy Regional High School Monday, Dec. 15, to meet with community members, Beauchaine at 6 p.m. and Thompson at 7.  Millen will be at the school on Tuesday, Dec. 16, meeting with community members at 6. Residents can submit feedback on the candidates to the school committee via an online form following the sessions.

School committee members will interview the three finalists on Wednesday, Dec. 17 in a public session that will also be live streamed.
