Town Hall-O-Ween
ORLEANS – You might be wondering what happens behind the scenes of local town government. Come check out Orleans Town Hall…if you dare.
The town offices have been decked out appropriately for next week’s Halloween holiday. According to Assistant Town Manager Mark Reil, the festive redecoration was done in an attempt to help boost teambuilding and camaraderie among town staff.
“We’re really focused on building a positive culture here that brings people together. I think in a lot of municipalities, and in the past here, people were in their offices or in different buildings and didn’t have that cohesive organizational feel.”
Offices throughout town hall have gotten in on the fun, with each one bringing their own ideas and Halloween decor to the table. Reil said one office will be given a trophy to hold onto until next Halloween.
“The health department was here until seven last night,” he said. “They really got into it.”
A healthy Barnstable County requires great community news.
