HARWICH – Monomoy sophomore midfielder Chris Shea scored two goals to push Monomoy into a draw with Nauset last Friday, earning the Sharks soccer team its first-ever point taken in a match against the Warriors.

Monomoy — in the history of the boys soccer team — had lost all previous meetings with Nauset, according to head coach Keith Clark. The Sharks were down 2-0 before coming back to get the tie result.

Shea’s two second-half scores were “good, quality goals,” Clark said. The second goal came with less than two minutes remaining off a cross from junior Ben Hager. The match result put Monomoy at 2-5-2 and Nauset at 3-4-2 for the season.
