Start out the new year with a new car (or a new-to-you car)! And start at your neighborhood car dealership, Chatham Ford.
“There has been a car dealership here for over 100 years,” said general manager Chris Brunco. “It’s been Chatham Ford for a long, long time. And it’s still the same.” It’s also still the same as part of the Jack Madden Ford Family of dealerships. “The company is family-owned, and there are just three locations. The Norwood location is our ‘mother ship’ (he has a dealership in Franklin, too) and Jack is a great owner. We are able to operate here as we always did. We’re a true small-town dealership.”
Brunco (and yes I asked him if ever people commented on his name and his occupation considering Ford is famous for the Bronco, and he laughed and said, “all the time!”) has been with the dealership since 2011, and Madden has owned it “for seven years or so.” The Madden family has a home on the Cape, too.
“No customer has really noticed any change,” said Brunco. “Jack kept all of us here. We’re all still here.”
He pointed out the simplicity of the dealership. “Compared to the conventional car dealerships with a huge management staff, we’re a small group who handles it all from start to finish. Rae Carlin, our comptroller, has been here for over 40 years and Kate Studley, the assistant office manager and registry clerk, has been here for seven years.” The sales crew welcomes you as soon as you walk in the door, and can talk to you about new cars and their used car inventory.
“We build relationships,” said Brunco. “My door is always open. We deal with any problems head-on. We treat our customers and future customers great. The goal is always to keep the transactions stress-free. We want to make purchasing a car easy.”
Ford and Lincoln are owned by the same manufacturer. “They used to produce the Mercury too. I believe the last Mercury was about 10 years ago or so.” Chatham Ford can get you a new Ford or Lincoln, “but we also have a good amount of used cars.” Plus when you buy a car here, you can get it serviced here, too.
So it’s really not silly to imagine that you can start 2024 out with a new car; just head on over to Chatham Ford. You can’t miss it; at the top of the hill from the light on your way into town. Check out the new Ford cars, SUVs or trucks today!
