Patricia Thomson Schoeffel

Patricia Thomson Schoeffel died on October 19, 2024, at the age of 93 in St. Louis, MO.  She is preceded in death by her sister, Carol, father Hugo M. Thomson, and mother, Esther S. Thomson.  She is also preceded in death by David E. Schoeffel in November 2005 and her second husband James Cristos Bampos (Peter) in November 2021.
    Pat was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and lived in Longmeadow, MA until she met and married David in January 1954. She and David retired to Cape Cod in 1994 and lived in South Orleans. A couple years after his death, she remarried and continued to live on the Cape until health issues led to her move to St. Louis to be near her daughter Carol and son Tom.
She is survived by her three children: Carol Schoeffel (Bob Klute), Sara Salamone (Paul), and Thomson Schoeffel (Lora).  She is also survived by her two grandchildren, grandson Cameron Schoeffel (wife Alyse) and great grandchildren Blake, Palmer, and Cameron Jr. Her granddaughter Elizabeth Brinker (husband Bradley) have one son, Jameson.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Federated Church of Orleans, Main Street at 5 PM.  Her ashes will be interred in its memorial garden, next to David’s. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Federated Church or to a favorite charity.
