Scott Edward Johnson

Scott Edward Johnson of Orleans, MA, died on February 22. A third generation Cape Cod builder, Scott was the son of David Eldridge Johnson and Nathalie Barron Johnson of Orleans. He was 72.
Scott is survived by his wife Patricia Snyder Johnson, his son Brett Edward Johnson of Saco, ME, and daughter Sarah Frances Johnson (Luke Snyder) of Arvada, CO; grandsons Bodhi Payne Snyder and Rowan Johnson Snyder; sisters Tamzen Johnson Mackeown (Douglas) and Martha Johnson Davis (Patrick).
Besides his business in Orleans, Scott served as a reserve officer for the Orleans Police Department and as a beach patrol for the Orleans Natural Resources Department, and was keeper of the herring for the town of Orleans. He contributed his time as a youth lacrosse and soccer coach and to programs of local pond coalitions and to the Orleans Police Relief Association.
Scott attended Cardigan Mountain School in New Hampshire, graduated from Kents Hill School in Maine, obtained an associates degree from Vermont Technical College, and attended the University of Colorado, Boulder.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans on March 29 at 11 a.m.
