Cape League Releases 2025 Schedule

Local baseball fans can break out their Sharpies and mark their calendars after the Cape Cod Baseball League released its schedule for the 2025 season.

The premier collegiate summer league will open the season with a full slate of five games on June 14. The defending Cape League champion Harwich Mariners will host the Bourne Braves in a rematch of last year’s championship series on opening day; Brewster will welcome East Division rival Yarmouth-Dennis to town, Orleans will host Cotuit, and Chatham will host Falmouth.

The Cape League All Star Game will be held July 19 at Red Wilson Field, the home of the Y-D Red Sox. It will mark the fourth time Y-D has hosted the mid-season classic and the first since 2013.

The playoffs are set to begin Aug. 5 and will feature the top four teams from each division competing in three rounds of best-of-three series.
