Car Crashes Into Larry's P.X.
CHATHAM – A small SUV crashed through the front of Larry’s P.X. early Wednesday morning, resulting in injuries to two people.
Early witness reports say one person was taken out of the building at 1591 Main St. on a stretcher and another in a neck brace.
Chatham Deputy Fire Chief Ryan Clarke said both were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. One person was sent to Cape Cod Hospital, while the other was taken to South Shore Hospital in Weymouth with more severe injuries.
Witnesses told The Chronicle that the crash occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. Clarke said the Barnstable County Tech Rescue team was onsite to secure the building, which was cleared and secured just before 11:45 a.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
