Paula Marie West
November 06, 2024
July 6, 1953-October 30, 2024
Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to our dear mother, sister, Nonna, aunt and friend, Paula. She left us peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in San Fransisco, California on July 6, 1953 to the late Paul and Angelique Valente. Paula is preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” and sister Cathy Curie.
Paula’s warm smile and kind heart were evident to all who knew her. She dedicated her career to the Town of Harwich as the assistant town clerk for over two decades. While she retired in 2022, her love for her family remained her greatest joy. She is survived by her loving sons, Jason ( Abby Newberry) West and John (Lindsay) West, her cherished granddaughters Taliah, Juliah and Adeline. She is also survived by her sister Virginia and brother Pascale “Cal” and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Paula had a unique ability to make everyone feel special. Her positive impact on those around her was immeasurable. She will be forever loved and terribly missed. All of the special memories we created together will live with us forever.
Thank you to VNA Hospice and Anastacia Athas for taking such loving and supportive care of Paula and her family.
Visiting hours will be on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 2-4pm at Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Blute Chapel, 678 Main Street, Harwich Center, MA.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to be made in honor of Paula to The Children’s Center, 115 Sisson Road, Harwich Port, MA 02646. Notes of comfort may be made to her family at www.chapmanfuneral.com
