The pandemic certainly changed the way we live our lives, but in a sense, it helped Andi Hibbert fine-tune her fitness studio.
“I opened the doors on Friday, April 13, 2012. Yes, I opened on a Friday the 13th!” said Andi Hibbert, owner of Balanced 4 Fitness. “Business was good and then COVID hit. I could see it coming and I actually shut down a week before the mandatory shutdown happened.  Then after a while, we gradually opened to full capacity.”
Hibbert found her clients liked the smaller classes and some preferred doing the virtual classes that she had set up because of the pandemic. “So we now limit our classes to 10 or less, and still offer the virtual classes.” Balanced 4 Fitness offers Spin Fit, Group Reformer, Pilates, Barre, TRX, and many more body conditioning classes.
“The studio is fully handicapped accessible and fully equipped with all the equipment you need for the classes including a Pilates chair for those with kneeling issues, and a MVe chair, too. If you’re in a wheelchair, we can help you.
“I love re-teaching individuals and watching their programs with an eye on correct form, breath, and flow of movement. I use many props, state-of-the-art, high-end spinning bikes, and Peak Pilates equipment in a clean, private, air-controlled, purified air studio.
You can book a private or semi-private session, she even offers private small group appointments for family events, bridal parties, or any special occasion. “And there are levels for everyone!” said Hibbert. “Levels one, two, and three for every class, and classes are all the same price.” There are no monthly fees; clients purchase class credits that are valid for a full year for any class.
This is all very exciting, but Hibbert said she is most excited about the return of the Nauset Community Ed program. “COVID happened and they had to end the program. And now it’s back but with some limitations. Classes can only be offered during off-school hours. So I am now offering the Nauset Ed fitness classes in my studio at their prices in 10-session packs.”
If you want to come check the facility out, Hibbert prefers you to call her to set up a time to stop in. She uses Mind Body software to register for a class. “It’s very simple to download the app; you just set it up once, and then it’s two clicks. Of course, you can call to book a class, too.”
