HARWICH – A year ago, Monomoy junior Ryan Laramee established himself as one of the Cape’s best boys soccer players after captaining the Sharks to the program’s first Division 4 state championship appearance.
Expect a big senior season from Laramee, a two-year captain from Harwich who was named Cape and Islands League Mariner Division Most Valuable Player last fall.
“Ryan’s technical ability on the ball and the quality of his finishing have always been a key weapon for Monomoy,” Monomoy coach Keith Clark said. “He will be a key to our attack not only as a scorer but also in a midfield role as a playmaker.”
Although Clark said he expects teams to target Laramee more with their defensive game plans, the coach believes the senior is primed for another special season.
“I think he can be even more dominant this year,” Clark said.
