BREWSTER – A steady stream of visitors toured the Stony Brook Gristmill Saturday in the town’s annual Cornbread Festival.
Using water power, the mill hummed along, grinding kernels of corn between massive millstones, turning out a steady stream of organic cornmeal. Visitors marveled at the workings of the mill, and had a chance to sample a piece of fresh cornbread before walking upstairs to tour the museum.
A healthy Barnstable County requires great community news.
