HARWICH – It was a day of rhythm and dance in Brooks Park on Sunday as people came to celebrate the fourth annual “United We Dance” festival sponsored by Dance Therapy 508 Entertainment. The day-long event provided participants of all ages with the opportunity to experience the joy of movement.

The festival was put on by Victoria Brown of Dance Therapy, which offers adaptive dance programs at 204 Sisson, the cultural center. It gave people the opportunity to feel and learn the steps of African music and dance with rhythms provided by the Drumma Queens and Master Djembe drummer Issa Coulibaly. There was much more, including lessons in krump, dancehall, bellydance, Brazilian and contemporary movements.
