William D. Southwick

William “Bill” D. Southwick, 75, of Central Square, NY formerly of Chatham, MA, passed away unexpectedly Monday. He was born in Manchester, NH to the late Alfred and Rita Dupre Southwick. He was an honorably discharged U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. He ended his enlistment as Staff Sergeant. Bill owned and operated “Bill’s Landscaping” for over 30 years. Bill was an avid golfer and hunter. He was known for tooling around Chatham in his white pickup gathering all the town’s ‘news.’

He is survived by his wife Julie; son, David (Donna) Southwick; daughters Caroline (Paul) Williams and Sarah (Joshua) Paduana; sister, Cyndi (Michael) Nelson; sister-in-law, Harriet Southwick and eight grandchildren Sabrina, Dalton, Justice, Tiana, Camrie, Jaden, Cora, and Rosalie. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Paul R. Southwick.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. at the Chatham V.F.W. 150 George Ryder Rd, Chatham, MA 02633.
