Blake Evan Buddensee

Blake Evan Buddensee, 41, of Harwich, MA passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 26, 2024. He was the son of the late Robert Buddensee and Suzanne (White) Feeney. He was born in Warwick, NY and at an early age moved with his family to Centerville, MA. A few years later, they moved to Harwich where Blake has since resided.

Blake worked for the Barnstable Department of Public Works for over 11 years. He was a plant operator in the water pollution control division.

Blake loved nature. He enjoyed working in his yard and took great pride in his lawn. In his early years he was a master skateboarder, as an adult he grew to love golf. Nothing brought more joy to Blake than his children. He loved playing with his boys outdoors and he especially looked forward to family trips to Disney World.

Blake is survived by his wife Holly (Leach) Buddensee, his adored sons Daniel and Jacob, his brother Brent Buddensee and Dr. Melissa Buddensee, niece and nephew Arwyn and Brandelwyn, his step-father Brian Feeney, his Aunt Audrey Buddensee Mullarney and Dr. Patrick B. Mullarney, his cousins, Alison Elizabeth Mullarney, Matthew P. Mullarney and Danielle Mullarney, and Kathryn Mullarney Schackner and Peter Schackner. Blake also leaves behind several extended family members and friends.

Family and friends will gather at Doane, Beal & Ames, 206 Main St. (Route 28), West Harwich, MA 02671 on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 10:30-12pm. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 12 pm.
