Athlete Of The Week: Reign Stephens

HARWICH – The Monomoy baseball team is heading back to the Division 4 state tournament, thanks in large part to senior Reign Stephens.

The Harwich resident finished with two RBIs in Friday’s 5-1 victory over Bourne, helping the Sharks end the regular season with an 11-9 record. The team will return to the postseason and learn its seeding at 11 a.m. Wednesday, when the MIAA releases its baseball tournament brackets.

The two-run game capped off a productive final month of the regular season for Stephens, who also came through at the plate with an RBI double in the team’s 7-0 win over Nantucket on May 15.
