Angelo Salvatore LaMantia

Angelo Salvatore LaMantia, age 85, of West Harwich passed away on December 22, 2025, at Rosewood Rest Home with his loving wife by his side. Angelo was born to Anna LaMarca and Salvatore LaMantia on October 20, 1940, in the Bronx, N.Y.
Angelo graduated from Yale University and received his MBA from Columbia. He was Senior Executive for Unilever United States.
Angelo is survived by his children Suzanne Thornton and her husband Vincent of Cohasset, Ma, Kathleen Dechane of Littleton, Ma, and Robert LaMantia and his wife Julie of Flanders, NJ. He is predeceased in death by his first wife Mary Sampson LaMantia.
Angelo and his wife Cornelia (Connie) Doherty were both widowed and married late in life. They had 23 rich and full years together. Angelo had 9 grandchildren in the lives of Connnie’s 6 grown children and their spouses and in the lives of her 17 grandchildren.
Angelo was a member of Allen Harbor Yacht Club, Wychmere Beach Club, Hyannis Yacht Club and Cranberry Valley Golf Course.
Angelo was a member of The Board of Selectmen of Harwich of 10 years and prior to that of the Planning Board of 8 years.
