OES Kindergartners Decorate Cookies For Council On Aging
ORLEANS – Kindergartners from Orleans Elementary School brought some holiday festiveness to the Orleans Police Department last week.
Students in Jessica Murray’s class paid a visit to the department Dec. 10, where they decorated Christmas cookies that were later donated to the town’s council on aging.
“As you can see, they’re taste testing,” said Orleans Police Lieutenant Andrew McLaughlin. “That’s part of the deal, though.”
Cookies were made especially for the event from Cottage Street Bakery, and hats and aprons were provided to the budding bakers.
A healthy Barnstable County requires great community news.
