Chatham Men’s Club Supports Chatham Food Pantry------The Chatham Men’s Club was founded in 1957 and today has nearly 150 community-minded members, committed to making Chatham a better place to live. The club meets every Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. from October through May at the community center on Main Street. For many years, the club has provided financial assistance to the Chatham Food Pantry. On the last Friday of each month during the club year, members contribute to the Pantry. In addition, at the annual holiday lunch in December, the club raffles various gift cards donated by many local businesses. All proceeds from this event are also donated to the Chatham Food Pantry. Shown here, Chatham Men’s Club members (from left) Phil Reed (treasurer), Larry Goodrich (chairman) and Jeff Gordon (secretary) present Peter and Linda Hughes, managers of the Chatham Food Pantry, with a check representing November’s club donation to the pantry.
