Spectators planning to attend home basketball games at Monomoy should be prepared to purchase digital tickets before arriving at the gymnasium.

The school will only offer digital tickets to fans this winter, using a digital ticketing system operated by MSB Tickets. Fans can purchase tickets at msbtickets.com or scan a QR code outside of the gymnasium that will guide them to the purchasing site.

There will be no cash option for individual home games, although the school’s Booster Club will be selling season passes for $30 cash outside of games.

Nauset Receives Sportsmanship Award

The Nauset girls team received some hardware before its 56-54 overtime loss to Plymouth South on Dec. 14.

Cape Cod basketball officials recognized the program as the recipient of the sportsmanship award from Board 152 of the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials. The award was given to the Warriors for their sportsmanship during last season.

The Cape Tech boys received Board 152’s boys sportsmanship award and received their sportsmanship plaque in March.
