Monomoy’s Jojo Ready Scores 14 In All Star Game

Monomoy senior Jojo Ready shined among the Cape and Islands’ brightest stars on Sunday when she scored 14 points to help propel the Lower Cape to a 79-72 victory over Upper Cape in the Cape Cod High School All Star Girls Basketball Game at Hyannis Youth Community Center.
Ready joined forces with Monomoy teammate Kiley Mawn, a junior, as well as Cape Cod Tech junior Gianna Labash and sophomore Senny Walton and Nauset freshman Brynn Kew and sophomore Amari Brace on the Lower Cape All Stars.
Cape Tech sophomore Anthony Barlett (five points) and senior Joshua Cohen (four points) helped lead the Lower Cape in a 96-88 loss to the Upper Cape boys All Stars.
Monomoy seniors Jackson Morneau (six points) and Jackson Rocco (one point) also suited up for the Lower Cape boys alongside Nauset senior Austin Remmey.
A healthy Barnstable County requires great community news.
