Silent Art Auction Benefits Family Pantry

Thanks to the generosity of the artists who painted them, the original artwork on the covers of The Cape Cod Chronicle’s two Christmas gift guides are being auctioned off to the highest bidder. All proceeds benefit our annual Helping Neighbors campaign, supporting the Family Pantry of Cape Cod.

Both works can be viewed at The Chronicle’s office at 60-C Munson Meeting Way, Chatham. To place a bid in the silent auction, emailhelpingneighbors@capecodchronicle.com through Sunday, Dec. 16 at midnight. Bidders should write “Helping Neighbors Auction” in the subject line and include the bid amount, the piece they are bidding on, and their phone number.

Updates on bids will be posted occasionally, and the winning bid will be awarded Dec. 17.  Check this page often!  The winner is responsible for picking up the painting at our offices in Chatham.

The artwork on the first gift guide is titled “Winter’s Eve,” by Heather Blume. It is a 18-by-11-inch collage.
