Chatham - Olive (Forst) Kney Osborn, 88, of Chatham died August 29, 2020. She was the loving wife of Dr. Stephen W. Osborn. Olive was born in Trenton, N.J., and grew up in Hingham and New Hope, Pa. She was a graduate of Solebury School in New Hope, Pa. and University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. She also earned a fellowship degree from Alex Moore Studio of Dance in the UK. From 1975 to 1981, she and Stephen ran The Court Dance Studio in Newtown, Pa. Olive was married to Leo Kney from 1954 to 1960, and married Stephen Osborn in 1964.
She is survived by children Arthur D. Kney, Bradford D. Kney, Anna O. Heaney, Elizabeth O. McRae, and Michael B. Osborn. She also leaves seven grandchildren: Stephanie, Nicholas, Elise, Stacey, Tasha, Julianna, and Zoe-Lee, and 5 great grandchildren: Hunter, Kent, Rachel, Harvey, and Lavinia. She was predeceased by her son David S. Osborn and sister Adah D. Forst.
According to Olive, “Sometime in my life I must have done something right, because I was blessed with a wonderful, loving family. What more could anyone want?”
