Arthur Farrenkopf, 62, of Laconia N.H. formerly of Chatham, passed away on May 23, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family.
Born on Cape Cod on October 12, 1954, he was the son of Leo and Mary (Baker) Farrenkopf, Sr. He was a commercial fisherman out of Chatham most of his life and missed it when he moved to New Hampshire. There he enjoyed hiking with his family and his dog, Brady. Arthur was predeceased by his infant son Chad Arthur in 1987 and his father in 2002 and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Missing him are his mother; his wife of almost 40 years,Joanne(Baily); his children,Sara Bagley, Megan (and Tom) Costa, Cody Farrenkopf, Carrie (and Tyler) Baron,Andrea Farrenkopf; his grandchildren Isaiah and Karson Costa, Aubrey and Baylee Baron, and Cole Bagley; and his dog, Brady. Also missing him are his brother, Leo, Jr. and sisters Cindy Hall and Mary Lynn Farrenkopf and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Chatham VFW on Wed. August 16 from 4 to 7 pm.
