CHATHAM – Buttons for this year's First Night celebration, with the theme “Light Up The Town,” go on sale at several locations beginning Oct. 8.
The button admits wearers to a wide variety of events and performances, including concerts, children’s activities, even a circus. Information on performers and events is available at the First Night Chatham website (www.firstnightchatham.com), which will be updated regularly with new information leading up to the celebration.
First Night Chatham “Light Up The Town” Buttons are $20 for adults 12 and up and $5 for children age 3 to 11 (children under age 3 are free.) They are available online at the First Night Chatham website and at the Chatham branch of the Cape Cod Five Bank, The Chatham Clothing Bar, Where the Sidewalk Ends Bookstore, Larry’s PX, South Chatham Liquors, Chatham Light Liquors, Puritan Cape Cod's Chatham store, and Snow’s Home and Garden in Orleans. The event often sells out, so those planning to attend are encouraged to get buttons early.
First Night Chatham depends on 40 year-round volunteers to organize committees and over 200 additional volunteers on First Night. For information on volunteering, call Carol Kolb at 508-432-6810.
