Vintage Cars Visit Chatham

1932 Packard. TIM WOOD PHOTO

A few dozen antique cars, like the 1932 Packard shown above parked at the Chatham Marconi Maritime Center, were in town last Friday, paying visits to the Atwood House and Museum, Marconi and an antique auto barn on Depot Road. Most of the cars belonged to members of the Classic Car Club of America's New England Region, who were on Cape for their Grand Classic Event, held at Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich Saturday.

Dorothy Bassett, director of operations at the Marconi Center, took this time lapse photo of the cars coming and going at the Orleans Road museum.
