Scenes From Tuesday's Snowstorm

The driver of a plumbing van sustained serious injuries after his vehicle skidded on snowy Forest Street in Harwich Center Tuesday morning, colliding with a tree. Firefighters had to extricate the man from the wreck, and rushed him to Cape Cod Hospital for treatment. The driver’s identity and condition were not immediately available. ALAN POLLOCK PHOTO

 

A day-long snowstorm left about four inches on the ground Tuesday.  Plunging temperatures made roads slick, causing numerous accidents throughout the area.
