New Golf Leagues at Harwich Port Golf Club

 

New golf leagues at Harwich Port Golf Club will begin May 15 with open enrollment throughout the season. There will be a Monday night Women’s Team Scramble with check-in between 4 and 5 p.m. and play beginning at 5 p.m. This is open to all skill levels and teams will be organized at check-in. All players must join, and league dues are $20. There will be a weekly prize pool and a season-ending fun tournament in September. Thursday is Men’s Quota League, an all-day league open to all players with special greens fees for non-members. All players must join the league and dues are $20 for the season, with weekly prize pool paid each week played. Friday is couples and two-person team leagues, multi-format with quotas. Cranberry Valley Hosting Military Golf Event May 8

 

Cranberry Valley is joining forces with the Salute Military Golf Association of Boston (SMGA-Boston) for a special tournament in Harwich. Wounded/injured combat veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan and other wars are invited to play golf alongside Cranberry Valley members, beginning at 8 a.m. May 8. This is a unique and personal way of thanking the men and women for the sacrifices they made for this country's freedom. The mission is to develop a sustainable golf program for Cape Cod veterans, including lessons, equipment, and playing opportunities, with Cranberry Valley serving as their home course.
